they say that "stomach is the best way to a man's heart", which is true indeed. the women of the family or the wives do the cooking at home for their beloved men or husbands. they usually come home tired from work and stressed from the outside world they are moving in the whole day. the first and most usual thing they do right after a sweet kiss is ask "what's my "baby's" recipe for tonight?" or "what's my sweetheart's meal for the family?" or "what's my honey's cooking for dinner?" those were the usual lines from the hubbies to their wives.
on my part on the other hand, i was never a best cook. :D haha. so sad that being a 32 year old woman, i was never good at cooking. practically, i know the basics. well yeah, i know the basic fry and boil and steam and grill and i can do some filipino cuisines and some italian dishes too. i can cook, yes, but since i have my mom who does the cooking, i'm not used to stay in the kitchen to prepare the food for the family. :D i know i need to practice. a lot lot more practice. and practice makes perfect. so yeah, i am trying my best to stay in the kitchen, watch my mom in front of the stove and get points from her on the how's, the do's and the dont's in cooking :D
since im not a kitchen loving person (whew), my babe is now practicing his own recipes for me. hahaha. baka daw kasi tamadin ako magluto (woooooooooh)! i hope not. dont worry babe, you will never lose weight when we get married. ill make sure ill cook the best dishes for you and the kids. so dont worry ok? im practicing. hahaha. i love you!
